JEREMY ALLEN NEW
Pontotoc - Jeremy Allen New, 20, died Friday, July 13, 2012, in Tupelo from injuries sustained in a car accident. He was born in Tupelo on July 14, 1991 to Jerry Lyn New and Tracy Renee Clark New. He attended Oasis of Love Christian School. He was a member of Oasis of Love Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, four wheeling, target shooting and being outdoors. He is and will forever be loved by his family and he had a heart of gold.
Services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday, July 16, 2012 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Kenneth McKenney officiating. Burial will be in the Oasis of Love Cemetery in Pontotoc.
Survivors include his wife of two years, Ashley New of Pontotoc; his children, Victoria and Gracie New and Sammy Guthrie; his father and best friend, Lyn New (Carol) of Pontotoc; his mother, Tracey New (Billy) of Tupelo; his siblings, Jennifer Kuafman (Edward) of Shannon, James New, Brianna Hendrix, Lucretia Rogers and Benny Bates, all of Pontotoc; his grandparents, Fred Clark of Shannon, Lucille Moreland of Arkansas, Carolyn and Jerry Lyn New, Sr. of Pontotoc and Mary Woods of Pontotoc; great-grandmother, Bessie Tackitt Brown of Pontotoc.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Hubert Tackitt.
Pallbearers will be Lyn and James New, Pete and Frankie Tackitt, Jonathan Wilson and Farris Keith.
Visitation will be 2 - 6 p.m. Sunday, July 15, 2012 at the funeral home.
