JEFF ROBERTSON, SR. Tupelo - Jeff B. Robertson, Sr., 67, died Tuesday, October 9, 2012, at Community Hospice at Darlington Oaks. He was born in Tupelo on October 25, 1944, to Thomas Bowen and Jeffie Porter Robertson and lived all his life in Tupelo. He was the owner of Tom's Automotive Service. He loved boating, jet skiing, and really enjoyed people. He was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Services will be 12:30 p.m. Friday, October 12, 2012, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Dan Rupert officiating. Burial will be in Tupelo Memorial Park.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Brenda Robertson of Tupelo; one son, Jeff Bowen "Jay" Robertson, Jr. (Hope) of Guntown; three grandchildren, Ty Robertson, Cooper Robertson and Olivia Robertson all of the home; one brother Jerry Robertson of the Eggville Community.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Pallbearers will be Mike Prust, Kevin Mitchell, Drew Steward, Justin Pepper, Ed Blaylock and Karl Mills.
Honorary pallbearers will be John Allen Mason, Ed Neely, Wesley Scruggs, Dr. Frank Nichols, Dr. Chris Croot, Gayle Kinsey, Anthony Knight, Scott Hendrix, Bobby Nanney, Don Cox, Emory Nash, and Richard Faulkner.
Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, October 11, 2012 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to New Beginnings, P.O Box 7055, Tupelo, MS 38802-7055.
