Tupelo - Jeffery Garland Martin, 48, died Friday August 25, 2006, at the North Mississippi Medical Center after a sudden illness. A Memphis, Tennessee native, he was born February 21, 1958 to Cecelia Green Martin and the late Tilghman Edward "Ed Martin. He had served in the Navy and had spent most of his working life in retail sales. He was presently working with BMC Sales as warehouse manager. He was a member of West Jackson Street Baptist Church.
Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday in the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Dr. Forrest Sheffield and Rev. Bert Harper officiating.
Survivors include one daughter, McCall Martin of Tupelo; one sister, Melinda Narmour of Tupelo; two brothers, Eddie Martin of Anniston, Alabama, and Chris Martin of Sylacauga, Alabama; her mother, Cecelia Green Martin of Tupelo.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until service time Sunday at the funeral home.
