JEANETTE THOMASON
Fulton - Jeanette Louise Thomason, 76, passed away Sunday, October 1, 2017, at her home. She was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania on October 23, 1940, to Donald Harry and Mary Katherine Wintzet Benny. Jeanette loved to garden and being outdoors. She had a special love for cats. Along with her mother, Jeanette helped form and organize the special needs bowing in Tupelo. She attended First Presbyterian Church, Tupelo for a number of years.
Survivors include her children, John Mark Thomason of Tupelo, Harry Benny Thomason and Robert Burns Thomason, Jr. (Susan) of Fulton; son-in-law, Malcolm Crump of Verona; granddaughter, Dianna Carr of Pontotoc; four step-grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Dorothy Kay "Dottie" Crump and brother, Jack Benny.
Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, October 3, 2017, at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo.
Services will be 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 4, 2017, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Patricia Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park .
Pallbearers will be Sammy D. Baswell, Jonathan Baswell, Thomas B. Harris, James K. Harris, Christopher P. Jones, Bryon Young and Billy Randolf.
