JEANETTE PAGE Saltillo - Jeanette Page, 97, passed away Friday, September 20, 2013, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born on July 9, 1916, to David and Ottie Green in Verona. Jeanette was a lifelong member of The First United Methodist Church, where she served many years in the choir and Altar Guild. She was also active in the Jr. Women's club and N E Mississippi Art Association. She enjoyed golf, bridge, oil painting and card making. She was in business with her husband Herman Page in Page's Super Markets and Page's Super Drugs and also was the owner of Page's Ben Franklin. Services will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, September 24, 2013, at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W.E. Pegues Funeral Directors with Rev. Tim Alexander officiating. Burial will be at the Tupelo Memorial Park. Survivors include her twin daughters, Ann Board and Jane Clegg (Jim), her son, Ed Page (Betty); six grand children, Jeff Spencer, Paige Repult (John), Heather Thornhill (Jody), Chad Hoos (Amy), Sheri Hall (John) and Jay Page (Courtney); six great-grand children, Taylor Thornhill, Sawyer Spencer, Sadler Spencer, McCarthy Ann Repult, Cosby Repult and Sarah Page. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Page; her parents, David and Ottie Green and two brothers, Jimmy and Leroy Green. Visitation will be from 1 PM till service time Tuesday, September 24, 2013, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Sanctuary Hospice House or Good Samaritan Clinic.
