Tupelo—Jason Lee Pearce passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at the North Mississippi Medical Center. He was 52 years old. The son of Howard Lee Pearce and Marilyn Howard Pearce Walsh, Jason was born in Amory on October 7, 1972. After his graduation from Shannon High School, he earned a bachelors degree at Ole Miss on a full scholarship. For many years he worked as a sales manager. Bright, intelligent, friendly are just a few of the words used to describe Jason’s character. He worked hard and would offer a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Jason was a collector of vintage comic books and Star Wars enthusiast but his top priority was his family, taking care of his disabled younger brother daily. He was greatly loved by his family who will cherish his memory.
Jason leaves behind his mother, Marilyn Walsh; his brother, Steven Pearce; daughter, Anslee Pearce; aunts, Connie Beam, Linda Holland, Pat Bishop, and Debbie Pearce; and a host of cousins and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Pearce.
