Tupelo - Jason Thomas Page, 40, died Wednesday, August 6, 2014, at Baptist Memorial Hospital of Oxford. He was born March 6, 1974 to Rebecca McElhenney Page and the late Charles LeRoy Page, Jr. Jason was a hero to those who knew him. With courage and strength, he inspired others while facing adversity as a quadriplegic. He had a fighter's will to live and endured all hardships . He loved sports especially Ole Miss football and basketball. He had many hobbies including hunting, fishing and lifting weights. He was also a member of the Christian Motorcycle Club. He loved the times he spent with his family. A celebration of his life will be 11 a.m. Saturday, August 9, 2014 at W. E. Pegues, Saltillo. A graveside service will follow at Endville Cemetery. Survivors include two daughters, Lakin Page Kelly (Michael) of Tupelo and Mandi Tharp of Panama City, FL; one son, Larry Walls (Haven) of Tupelo; grandchild, Leah Carter Kelly; two brothers, Matt Justice (Mary Carmen) of Saltillo and Allen Justice (Leah) both of Saltillo; two sisters, Rachel Justice (Stanley) and Tessa Grammer (Brian) both of Saltillo; special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; the father he knew most of his life, Clarence Justice; and his mother, Becky and his step-father, Jim whom he loved deeply. He was preceded in death by his father, Chip Page in 1977, paternal grandparents, Buddy and Agnes Page; maternal grandparents, Kawonies and Hazel McElhenney. Pallbearers will be Jonathan Stegall, Dickey Frazier, Drew Thrasher, Adam Thrasher, Eric McElhaney and Joey Wilson. Visitation will be 5 - 9 p.m. Friday August 8, 2014 and continue Saturday from 9 - 11 a.m. at W. E. Pegues, Saltillo.
