Saltillo—Janie Cullum Davis passed away Monday January 9, 2023 at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was 70 years old. Janie was born in Tupelo on June 16, 1952, the daughter of Vance and Mary Robbins Cullum. She graduated from Saltillo High School. Janie worked as a marketing services specialist for Action Industries, retiring after 23 years. She was a member of Hebron United Methodist Church. Janie enjoyed reading, tending to her flowers, and collecting playing cards from around the world. She adored her grandson, Bryson and cherished every moment spent with her family.
Janie leaves behind her daughter, Robin Carter of Fulton; grandson, Bryson Carter; her sister, Rachel Keith and husband, Butch of Tupelo; her brother, Donald Cullum of Saltillo; nephews, Derek Keith and Nathan Cullum and wife, Jenna; nieces, Twila Parden and husband, Justin, Allison Rowan and husband, Kevin, and Cassidy Cullum; great-nephews, Gage and Rhett; great-nieces, Breanna, Victoria, Mckinley, and Addison; and special friends, Bonnie Watson, Diane Dye, and Tammy Sudduth.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister-in-law, Diane Cullum.
Visitation will be 1 until 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Pegues Funeral Directors, Tupelo. Services will follow at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Jefferson Street Chapel with Rev. Joe Coggins officiating. Burial will be in Crossroads Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Nathan Cullum, Donald Cullum, Kevin Robbins, and Keith Sanders.
