JANALOU TYSON Pontotoc - Janalou Taylor Tyson, 79, died Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at her home. Jan was born November 12, 1935 in Tishomingo County to Jerd Haynes and Velma Cleo Hopkins Taylor. She was employed as a saleslady for many years in the retail industry. She was a long-time member of the Iuka Baptist Church. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and crocheting and was an avid fisherman never losing her desire to fish. The family invites everyone to a gathering from 1 - 4 p.m. Sunday, March 15, 2015 at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. W.E. Pegues of Tupelo is in charge of local arrangements. Survivors include three brothers, James Hayden Taylor (Bea) of Iuka, Charles Douglas Taylor (Jeannette) of Holly Springs, Harry Taylor (Carlene) of Potts Camp; two sisters, Glynda Lovell (Donnie) of Rienzi and Nina Frederick of Pontotoc ; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Barton Tyson; her parents; two sisters, Wanda Gail Gleaton and Betty Sue Holland. Expressions of sympathy may be left at www.peguesfuneralhome.com
