JAMES RICHARD WATTS Baldwyn - James Richard Watts, 66, passed away Friday, September 6, 2013, after a long illness. A Pontotoc County native, he was born August 27, 1947, to Bud and Earlene Watts. For over 40 years Richard served as a truck driver. Spending time outdoors, gardening, and traveling were some of his favorite hobbies. A loving husband, father and grandfather, Richard loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and cherished the memories made with them. A celebration of life for Richard will be 2 p.m. Monday, September 9, 2013, at The Saltillo Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Bro. Larry Dunaway officiating. Burial will be in Beech Springs Cemetery. Richard is survived by his children, Buddy Watts of Saltillo and Kelly Ringgold (Brad) of Baldwyn; three grandchildren, Harley, Hailey and Hannah Rider all of Guntown; two sisters, Nell Dunaway and Rita Horton (Jackie) both of Saltillo; his companion and care giver, Grace Watts of Saltillo. He was preceded in death by his wife of 28 years, Linda Watts; one brother, E. J. Watts; one sister, Francis Vess; his parents. Pallbearers will be Bill Byrd, Adam Dunaway, Anthony Dunaway, Marty Dunaway, Jeff Dunaway, James Green and Roger Brooks. Visitation for Richard will be 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday, September 8, 2013, and continued 10 a.m. till service time Monday at the funeral home in Saltillo.
