JAMES VINCENT MUFFI
Tupelo - James Vincent Muffi, 74, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2013, at North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born May 1, 1939, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was a member of the United States Air Force. He spent his career in the Furniture Industry which he loved. He worked for Futorian, Stratolounger, Action Industries, and in 1979 he started at Peoploungers, Inc. in Nettleton, Ms.
Services will be 3:00 p.m., Saturday, October 5, 2013, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park.
Survivors include his daughter, Anna Muffi Bowen (Mark Bowen) of Tupelo; his brothers, John Muffi (Cathy) of Laurel Springs, New Jersey, and William Muffi (Chris) of Frederick, Maryland; six grandchildren, James Vincent Muffi, Violet Ann Muffi, Joseph Raymond Muffi, Alexandria Rashall Bowen, Mark Edwin Bowen II, and Ginger Victoria Bowen all of Tupelo; one great grandchild Emma Caroline Smith of Tupelo: and his beloved companion, Muffi.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Vincent Muffi and Anna Dorothy Cavalieri Muffi, one brother Dominic Muffi, and his son Mark Vincent Muffi.
Pallbearers will be James Vincent Muffi, Joseph Raymond Muffi, Mark Edwin Bowen II, Mark Edwin Bowen, John Muffi, and William Muffi.
Visitation will be 1:00 to 3:00 p.m., Saturday October 5, 2013 at the funeral home.
