James C. Kilgo

February 20, 1957 — April 5, 2011

Saltillo - James C. Kilgo, 54, died Tuesday, April 5, 2011, at his residence. A Lee County native and lifetime resident, he was born February 20, 1957, to Parmer and Mary Ann Reynolds Kilgo. He enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with his family. He was a member of Family Worship Center of Mantachie.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at The Family Worship Center in Mantachie with Rev. Wesley Kingsley and Rev. Paul Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include four children, Bradley Kilgo of Saltillo, Nathan Kilgo of Tupelo, Amanda Kilgo of Shannon and Heather Kilgo of Bradenton, Fla.; a step-daughter, Nicole Foster; his mother, Mary Ann Kilgo of Saltillo; two sisters, Teresa Guin (Randle) of Marietta and Diane Kirk (Joey) of Baldwyn); three brothers, Tommy Kilgo (Vicky) of Bruce, Perry Kilgo of Mantachie and Jeff Kilgo of Saltillo; special friends, Cindy Pharr and Dawn Moore; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Parmer Kilgo and his grandparents, Noble and Pauline Reynolds and Booker and Eddie Mae Kilgo.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Kilgo, Andrew Kilgo, Justin Kilgo, Chad Kilgo, Zac Reynolds, Alex Kingsley, John McMillen, and Shawn Guin.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Skyler Guin and Hunter Kilgo.

Visitation will be 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Church.
