JIM FORREST, JR.
Tupelo - James Gailey ?Jim? Forrest, Jr., 64, died Sunday, April 28, 2013, at the North Mississippi Medical Center, Hospice. He was born in Kentucky on May 13, 1948 to James and Mary Joyce Forrest. He was a long-time Head Start school bus driver. He enjoyed traveling and reading the Bible. He was very involved with the juvenile and adult jail ministry and soul winning. He was an active member of Lakeview Baptist Church.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2013 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Pastor Robert Garland and Rev. Danny Robbins officiating. Burial will be in Tupelo Memorial Park.
Survivors include his wife of fifteen years, Nancy S. Forrest of Tupelo; three daughters, Kimberly Bogard of Louisanna, Nanci Forrest of California and Staci Dady of Minnesota; five grandchildren, Dakota and Shawn Dady and Rebecca, Desirae, and Megan Bogard; one sister, Sara Lucas of Nevada; his brother, Luke Forrest of California; his father, James Gailey Forrest, Sr. of California.
He was preceded in death by his mother and his two brothers, George and Fred Forrest.
Visitation will be 4 - 6 p.m. Friday, May 3, 2013 and continue on Saturday from 12, Noon until service time at the funeral home.
