JACKIE ROUSE Tupelo - Jackie Wade Rouse, 56, died Saturday, February 16, 2013, at his residence. He was born April 11, 1956, in Alabama to Orville Thomas and Essie Mae Parker Rouse. He was a welder by trade and was a contractor for many years. He attended the Fulton Church of God of Prophecy and served in the past with the local jail ministries. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 20, 2013, at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Tim Winters and Rev. Billy West officiating with a eulogy by Peggy Rouse. Survivors include two sisters, Vickie Butler of Fulton and Phyllis Brandon of Shannon; one brother, Thomas Rouse of Tampa, Florida; nieces and nephews, Stephen Brandon, Stephanie Gunter, Billy Butler, Sonyia Lilly, Brian Butler, Brad Butler, Sophia Rouse and John Rouse. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Vanessa Rouse. Pallbearers will be Mike Gunter, Jr., Mike Gunter III, Billy, Brian, and Brad Butler and John Rouse. Honorary pallbearers will be Colin Lilly and Stephen Brandon. Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Building Fund of the Fulton Church of God of Prophecy, 462 Patton Dr. Fulton, MS 38843.
