Jackie Norris

Verona - Jackie Delaine Norris, 64, died Friday, January 28, 2011, at his residence. A. native of Marks, he was born December 26, 1946, to James Matthew and Sybil Jeanette Boyette Norris. He was retired from the United States Army after serving 21 years. He. grew up in Marks and Lambert and lived in Verona the past 20 years. He loved his daughters and spending time with his grandchildren

Graveside Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Unity Cemetery. Burial will be in Unity Cemetery. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Marjorie Hill Norris of Verona; three daughters, Peggy Roberson (Keith) of Okolona, Monica Camp (Timmy) of Shannon, and Ashley Norris of Clarksdale; seven grandchildren, Courtney Russell, Madison Fowler, Britnie Camp, Anna Camp, Haden Hodges, Michael Braiden Mills, and Annsleigh Sullinger; his sisters, Brenda Franklin (Jimmy Dale Oaks) and Linda Doubleday (Lewis), Pamela Norris; his brothers, Tony Norris (Susan) and Dale Norris (Judy); his aunt, Audrey Melton of Batesville.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Billy Norris.

Visitation will be 1 to 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
