Ione D. Mills

RUBY IONE DUVALL COOPER MILLS Mantachie - Ruby Ione Duvall Cooper Mills, 81, passed away November 24th, 2014. Ione was a mother, nana, and a strong willed resilient woman who refused to be defeated and placed her faith in God. She loved her children and grandchildren and was very proud of them. Ione was blessed with a creative mind and hard work ethic. She attended Bushey Creek Baptist church. Survivors include her brother, Anthony "Bud" (Shelby) DuVall and other siblings, Children: Michael Sprading, Tim (Marsha) Cooper, Maria (Mike) Page, Kirk Cooper, Malinda (Ken Peters) Ringman, and Angela Sheffield. Grandchildren: Andrea Ringman, Ethan Wallace, Alexis Ringman, Cole Parker, Trevor Wallace, K.C. Cooper, Dylan Sheffield, Eli Sheffield, Mikaela Page, Allen Cooper and Scott Cooper and great-grand child Audree Tramel. Ione was preceded in death by her daughter Marlena and son Rob' Cooper. Services will be 1 p.m. Sunday at W. E. Pegues Funeral Home in Tupelo, MS on December 7, 2014 with Brother Castor Buse officiating. A graveside will follow at Mantachie Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 - 6 p.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2014.
