Nettleton - Ina Mae "Memee" Kelley, 68, died Thursday, April 18, 2019, at her residence after a sudden illness. She was born in Marietta, June 26, 1950, to Luther and Lena Mae Christian Mills and was a life-long resident of Nettleton and Mooreville area. In 1982, she married William "Bill" Kelley and for a number of years they owned and operated Fins and Feathered Friends pet store in Tupelo. Memee was a collector of "a little bit of everything and nothing at all" not only for herself, but for her family as well. Some of the things she collected included milk glass, ragdoll rabbits, beanie babies and cabbage patch kids. She loved her family and sharing her love with babies she met in numerous places including restaurants, ball games, churches and stores.
Survivors include her husband, Bill "Papaw" Kelley of Nettleton; three daughters, LaVaughndra Estes of Nettleton, Brandy Kearney of Spring Hill, Tennessee and Staci Lane Prather of Blue Mountain; four grandchildren, Ayla Saylors and her husband, Josh of Killeen, Texas and Samantha Estes, Keenan Kearney and Gavin Kearney all of Nettleton; great-grandson, Carter Waylon Estes; and numerous other "adopted" grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Patricia Estes.
A celebration of life memorial service will be held from 4 until 5:30 p.m. Saturday, April 20, 2019 at the Tupelo Church of God on Briar Ridge Road.
