Delaware " Imogene Crump Livingston, 90, died November 27, 2009, in Wilmington, Delaware after a brief illness.
Born June 16, 1919, in Blue Springs, MS, she was a graduate of Blue Mountain College. After college graduation, she was a teacher and homemaker. She was the Founding Teacher of Bible Study for Today, which began as a home Bible study in 1967. This grew into studies in many neighborhoods in the Wilmington/Newark (DE) area. She was a member of Brandywine Valley Baptist Church (DE) from its founding. She was known for bringing JoyShe gave Love.
Graveside services will be held at Fairfield Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Blue Springs, Thursday, December 3, at 10:00 a.m.
Mrs. Livingston is survived by her son, David and his wife Pam of Greenwood Village, CO and her daughter, Stanna Galbraith and husband Tom, of Durango, CO; grandsons, Daniel Meyers and his wife Erica of Portland, OR, Jesse Livingston of Denver, CO, and Andrew Livingston of Ypsilanti, MI; and her great granddaughters, Julia and Sophia Meyers of Portland, OR.
She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, H. Stanley Livingston, Senior Engineering Consultant with the DuPont Company.
