IDA MAE CAUSEY DEVAUGHN Skyline Community - Ida Mae Causey DeVaughn, 92, died Sunday, February 10, 2013, at her home in the Skyline Community. She was born January 26, 1921, in Nettleton to Steve and Ruby Harlow Causey. She retired from Reeds Manufacturing. She loved working in her garden and spending time with her dog "Coco". She attended West Mooreville Baptist Church. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Earl Barron officiating. Burial will be in Shannon Cemetery. Survivors include two sons, Steve and Jim DeVaughn both of the Skyline Community; one special niece, Sharon Markham of Shannon; one sister, Nancy Lavell Markham of Shannon; one brother, John Taylor Causey of Nettleton; a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oran "Shine" DeVaughn; her parents; five brothers, Frank, Buck, Tom, Jimmy Doyle and Charles Causey; one half sister, Willie Mae Maxwell; one half brother, Dick Causey. Pallbearers will be Bud Coley, Nick Humber, Johnny Dye, Perry Sheffield, Ike Brown and Jack Burnham. Visitation will be 5 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at the funeral home.
