HOWARD E. CLARK
Mooreville - HOWARD E. CLARK, 76, died Wednesday, August 2, 2006, at North Mississippi Medical Center after an extended illness. A native of Mississippi, he was born December 4, 1929 to the late Cecil and Bessie Clark. He was a veteran having served in the United States Army during World War II. He worked all his life as a farmer. He was a loving husband, daddy, and papaw and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Services will be 4 p.m. Saturday, August 5, 2006 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Billy Burleson officiating. Burial will be in Priceville Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Ester F. Clark of Mooreville; five daughters, Carolyn McCollum, of Corinth, Peggy Neal of Senatobia, Mary Priest of Mooreville, Hilda Carter of Florida, Tootsie Smith,of Georgia; four sons, Michael E. Clark of Tupelo, Jackie Clark Sr., Billy R. Raper, Joseph A. Raper, all of Mooreville; one sister, Margorie Crosby; one brother, Lonzo Clark, both of Tupelo; 23 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Rosamond, and a son, Tony Clark
Pallbearers will be Joshua Mallette, Brian Raper, Jackie Clark, Jr., Richard Priest, Michael Lee Clark, Ray Thomas Priest
Honorary Pallbearers will be Matthew Mallette, Billy L. Raper, Rickey Priest, Zachery Neal, Marcus Raper, and Billy Joe Raper.
Visitation will be 4 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
