HILVA M. LAWSON
Birmingham Ridge - Hilva M. Lawson, 96, died Thursday, Dec. 22, 2005, at Riverburch in Plantersville after a sudden illness. She was born Feb. 25, 1909, in the Birmingham Ridge community to the late Dan Edward and Hettie Bean Sullivan. She was a teacher and worked for the state and federal government until she retired. Mrs. Lawson loved animals, especially her dog, "Billy" She was the widow of Ollie Olan Lawson.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today at the Saltillo Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Dr. Len Sullivan officiating. Burial will be in the McNeil Cemetery.
Survivors include one nephew, Dan Sullivan of Birmingham Ridge; one great-nephew, Witt Sullivan of Birmingham Ridge; her caregiver, Frances Sullivan of Plantersville; and a very special friend, Pat Warren of Birmingham Ridge.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time today at the Saltillo chapel.
