Saltillo - HERBERT C. HERB GRAYSON, 68, died Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at The North Mississippi Medical Center after a sudden illness. A native of Cynthiana, Kentucky, he was born February 19, 1940 to the late Leslie L. and Lettie Bruin Grayson. He grew up in Foley, Ala where he graduated from Foley High School. He had lived in Saltillo the past 15 years. He was retired from Wal-mart where he worked as a meat cutter. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and gun colletctor. his dog, Nellie, was a special friend and companion. He was a member of First United Pentecostal Church of Tupelo.

Graveside Services will be Saturday, March 15, 2008 at Tupelo Memorial Park with Rev. Larry Hill, Jr. and Rev. Larry Hill, Sr. officiating. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his wife of nearly 49 years, Edna Grayson of Saltillo; his son, Terry Grayson and wife, Merrie, of Tupelo; three sisters, Dewan Webster and husband, C.M., and O'Della Hansen, all of Mobile, Ala., Ester Bodiford and husband, Rev. Earl Bodiford of Semmes, Ala.; his brother, Larry Grayson of Foley, Ala.; three sisters-in-law, Billie Williams of Tupelo, Patsy Larson of Jackson, and Faye Jordan of Florida; four grandchildren, Tanner, Merri Kate, Garrett, and Brody; special firends, Rev. Roy and Shirley Craft of Hattisburg..

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Beulah Northcut and Vivian Webster.

Pallbearers will be Honorary Pallbearers will be Alan Chavers, Scott Chavers, Bryan Larson, Bubba Hansen, and James Larson.
