Herb Rasche

HERB RASCHE   Tupelo - Herbert Lee Rasche, Jr., 58, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2016, after an automobile accident. He was born March 26, 1958, to Herbert and Julie Martin Rasche.  On March 5, 1977, he married Deborah Hill. He lived in Aurora, Illinois for 30 years. Herb worked at Allsteel for 15 years. He worked for Gardner and Watson and Cube Ice as a truck driver for 23 years and was known as "Ice Man". Herb loved NASCAR and was an avid sports fan especially the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears.   Services will be 3:30 p.m. Friday, April 1, 2016, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Don Roberts officiating.   Survivors include his loving wife of 38 years, Deborah Rasche of Tupelo; daughter, Heather Overstreet (Douglas) of Tupelo; granddaughters, Morgan Mahin, Reagan and Lauren Overstreet all of Tupelo; mother, Julie Rasche of Aurora, Illinois; sister, Monwelia Roberts (Don) of Aurora, Illinois; brother, Mark Rasche (Lisa) of Smithville and numerous nieces and nephews.   He was preceded in death by father, Herbert Rasche and grandparents, Floyd and Beulah Martin and Robert and Cozette Rasche.   Visitation will be 2 until 3:30 p.m. Friday, April 1, 2016, at W.
