Helon Louise Price

Eggville - Helon Louise Price, 84, died Sunday, August 31, 2008, at her residence after an extended illness. She was born March 31, 1924 in Cullman County, Alabama to the late Hermon D. and Myrtle Jane Vest Lee. She married Hollis Cleveland Price in 1953. She was a member of Eggville Freewill Baptist but recently had been attending Eggville Church of Christ. She enjoyed doll making and spending time with her family.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, September 1, 2008 at The Saltillo Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Minister Leon Willis officiating. Burial will be in Eggville Cemetery.

Survivors include one son, Donald E. Price of Saltillo; two sisters, Lottie Mallette of Saltillo and Ottie Jane Hallmark and her husband, Durell, of Tupelo; three brothers, Thermon D. "Bud" Lee and his wife, Irene, of Cullman, Alabama, Billy Joe Lee of West Point, Alabama and Willie Dee "Jack" Lee and his wife, Edith of Battle Ground, Alabama and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hollis Cleveland Price; her parents; two brothers, Clarence H. Lee and Therlon H. "Don" Lee.

Pallbearers will be David Mallette, Thomas Mallette, Joshua Mallette, Justin Mallette, James Lee and Phillip Lee.
