HELEN SMYTHE STILES CHISHOLM
Charleston, South Carolina formerly of Tupelo - Helen Smythe Stiles Chisholm, 93, widow of Ernest Robert Chisholm, III entered into eternal rest Sunday, August 20, 2017. Her Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, August 26, 2017, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with interment in Tupelo Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at W. E. Pegues. Pallbearers will be Jake Chisholm, Drew Chisholm, Vic Chisholm, Logan Beaudrot, Ray Beaudrot, Nick Welch, Walt Dunn, and Phillip Graham.
Helen was born October 14, 1923 in Rondo, Arkansas, daughter of the late Glover Triplett Stiles and Helen Smythe Stiles. She attended Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas. Helen was a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church, Charleston where she served on the Benevolent Committee and was a member of the Senior Choir. She was a former member of Calvary Baptist Church in Tupelo, a member of the Women's Missionary Union and the Tupelo Garden Club.
Helen is survived by her three daughters: Nancy C. Snow (Jim) of Charleston, SC, Rosemary C. Bryant (David) of Spring Hope, NC, Jane C. Beaudrot (Raymond) of Charleston, SC; two sons: Ernest "Bob" Robert Chisholm, IV (Gail) of Tupelo and Lyman S. Chisholm (Jeanne) of Memphis, TN; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren with two additional great-grandchildren "on the way".
