HELEN BULLOCK
Blue SpringsHelen Chaney Bullock, 69, died Thursday, November 3, 2005, at her residence in Blue Springs after a lengthy illness. She was born November 2, 1936, in Lee County. She was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting, flea marketing, flower gardening, and spending time with her family and church family. She was a member of Parks Baptist Church.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday in the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Sammy Little officiating. Burial will be in Parks Cemetery in Union County.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, J. L. Bullock; her children, Margaret Hall and husband, Kenneth, Diane Gresham and husband, Terry, Johnny Bullock and wife, Darlena, Bobby Bullock and wife, Brenda, all of Blue Springs, JoAnn Gullick and husband, Jimmy, of Myrtle, Billie Hamblin and husband, Larry, of New Harmony; three sisters, Lou Kimble, Betty Tucker, and Nita Jones; one brother, Jimmy Chaney; 17 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Otis and Clara Mae Chaney, three brothers, James, Jerry, and Mickey Chaney, and one sister, Virginia Clanton.
Pallbearers will be Jesse Hall, J. R. Bullock, Brandon Pannell, Will Taylor, Rodney Chaney, and Phillip Chaney.
Honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons and great grandsons.
Visitation will be 4 - 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home on Jefferson Street.
