Helen Adderholt, 78, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at her nieces’ home in Saltillo, MS. She was born Wednesday, November 28, 1945, to Clifford and Lenora Deaton. Ms. Adderholt was a faithful member of Priceville Baptist Church where served in many areas. The highlight of her life was being able to spoil her grandchildren.
She is survived by her two children, Derrick Adderholt and Amanda Wood; five grandchildren, Chase Adderholt, Abby Adderholt, Trinity Adderholt, Autumn Wood, and Austin Wood; a special sister-in-law, Shelia Reed; and host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 50 years, Gerald Adderholt; one son, Kirk Adderholt; and one brother, Buddy Deaton.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Friday, May 24, 2024, at Pegues, Tupelo.
Services honoring her life will be 1 p.m. Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Priceville Baptist Church with Bro. Tim McMillen officiating. Visitation will also take place one hour before service time Saturday at the church. Graveside services will follow at Priceville Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Mark Patton, Anthony Patton, Drew Holland, Chase Adderholt, John Wilson, and Ken Barron.
Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Nance.
