HAZEL R WILLIAMS
Tupelo- HAZEL R WILLIAMS, 85, died Friday, March 21, 2008, at The North Mississippi Medical Center. She was a Lee County native born May 10, 1922. She was a member of East Heights Baptist Church. She was a loving mother and her children considered her the best mother in the world. A life-long gardner. Her favorite flowers were roses. Her favorite pet was her dog, Petey.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 23, 2008, at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Wayne Cobb and Rev. John McAlister officiating. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery at Belden. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include; her two daughters, Carlene Spearman of Pontotoc, Mississippi, Linda S. Bell of Tupelo, Mississippi; three sons, John C. Williams and his wife, Patty, of Randolph, Mississippi, Bobby " Chigger" Williams and his wife, Judy, of Houlka, Mississippi, and Steve Williams and his wife, Carol, of Bartlett, Tennessee; twelve grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Pallbearers will be Mike Bell, Jeff Stevens, Mike Winters, Brian Spearman, Thomas Scott and Mike Lail.
