HAZEL KINGSLEY
Tupelo - HAZEL IRENE KINGSLEY, 81, died Thursday, April 5, 2007, at Daniel Health Care after an extended illness. A Lee County native, she was born August 8, 1925, to the late James Oscar and Janie Augusta Post McCrory. She was a dental assistant for Dr. Joe Kellum in the Kellum Clinic for many years. She was married to Trice Kingsley for 63 years who preceded her in death October 26, 2006. She will be remembered as a fun loving individual who enjoyed working in her garden and yard and spending time with her family.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Minister Robert Carr officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park.
Survivors include a daughter, Diane Parker and husband, Ronnie, of Tupelo; two granddaughters, Jill Palmer and husband, Rusty, of Tupelo, and Staci Morgan and husband Jarrett, of Olive Branch; three great-grandchildren, Kate and Charlie Morgan and Sophie Palmer; one sister, Mary Ann Collier of Tupelo; one brother, Bobby McCrory of Tupelo; a sister-in-law, Faye McCrory of Okolona.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents; a brother, Leon McCrory; a sister, Stella Crawford .
Pallbearers will be Dr. Joe Kellum, Carl Kingsley, Tommy Norris, Rusty Palmer, Jarrett Morgan, and Dan Durham.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
