Tupelo - Hazel Davidson Grisham, 73, died Tuesday, June 29, 2010, at her residence after an extended illness. A Lee County native and longtime resident of Tupelo, she was born October 28, 1936, to William Austin Smokey and Josie Caroline Lyles Davidson. She was retired from Daybrite Industries after 29 years of service. She enjoyed fishing, camping, and her little dog, Brandie. She was a member of the Baptist church.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at The Saltillo Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Rev. Merle Floyd and Rev. Harlan Smith officiating. Burial will be in Saltillo Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Terri McCullough (Chuck) of Lilburn, Ga. and Becky Faust of Saltillo; her son-in law, Robert Faust of Palmetto; her son, David E. Lawrence (Janice) of Tupelo; four grandchildren, David Jerome Lawrence of Baldwyn, Lacey McCullough of Lilburn,Ga., Cody McCullough of Lilburn, Ga., and Corey Parker (Suelyn) of Okinawa, Japan; three step grandchildren, Jeff McCombs (Karen) of Jacinto, Tammi Turner (Jim), and Sylina Hood (Greg) of Kirkville; one great-granddaughter, Madison Parker; five step-greatgrandchildren, Frank McCombs (Angel) and Justin Hood, Brittany Bryan (Chris), Anna Hood and Bryson Turner.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, William Davidson, Talmadge Davidson, and Carlton Davidson.
Pallbearers will be Jeff McCombs, J.R. Barnett, Timmy Barnett, Tracey Barnett, Justin Hood, and Jim Turner
Honorary Pallbearer will be Bryson Turner.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Saltillo Funeral Home.
