Harvey Young

Tupelo - Harvey Lee Young, 86, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2018, at Sunshine Health Care in Pontotoc. He was born October 14, 1931, to Audie Lee and Ruby Russell Young. He worked a number of years in sales and installation at MAC's Tire Center. Harvey enjoyed deer and fox hunting and had won numerous trophies in fox hunting field trials.



Survivors include one son, Gary Young and his wife, Patricia of Tupelo; one brother, Calvin Young and his wife, Nelle of Pontotoc; three grandchildren, Derrick Young, Ashley Clayton and Jason Galloway; ten great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.



He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ann Marie Young; one daughter, Brenda Galloway; one son, Scott Young; and three grandchildren, Tanya Galloway, Neil Young and Lee Galloway.



Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo.



Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at Pleasant Grove Cemetery with Rev. Terry Faulkner officiating.



Pallbearers will be Derrick Young, Austin Lachney, Blayze Oswalt and Hunter Young.
