GRADY ELDRIGE BUSE

Saltillo - Grady Eldrige Buse, 70, died Thursday, March 22, 2006, after an extended illness. A Saltillo native, he was born March 24, 1936 to the late John Chanders and Lilllie Kay Clouse Buse. He was a veteran having served in the United States Air Force. He had worked for Penn Tire, Rockwell Int/Delta, and Lee County Second District. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of the Saltillo Blue Loge. An avid outdoorsman, he also enjoyed spending time with grandchildren, watching the Braves and Wheel of Fortune. He was a member of Hebron United Methodist Church.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at The Saltillo Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Rev. Tim Green officiating. Burial will be in Center Star Cemetery.


Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Virginia Robbins Buse of Saltillo; one daughter, Pam Wiginton and husband, Frank, of Dorsey; three sons, John Buse of Los Angeles, Calif., Ronny Buse and wife, Lisa, of Saltillo, Anthony Buse and wife, Sherry, of Baldwyn; one sister, Barbara Lansdell and husband, Gene, of Tupelo; one brother, Kenneth Buse and wife, Ann, of Saltillo; three sisters-in-law, Olean Buse, Leatrice Buse and Betty Buse; eight grandchildren, April Jones and husband, Eric Jones, Christopher, Eric, Isaac and Eli Buse and Jacob Dunaway, all of Saltillo, Emma Kate and Jack Buse, both of Baldwyn; one great-granddaughter, Haily Jones; two step-grandchildren, Preston and Crystal Wiginton; two step-great-grandchildren, Grace and Jason Wiginton; three brothers-in-law, Delbert Robins and wife, Shirley, Rush Robins and wife, Bernice, James Robins, and wife, Debbie; two sisters-in-law, Mary Riley and husband, Charles, and Alice williams and husband, Buddy; a special friend, Elmer "Buck" Duffie; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, Jewel Brock, Clytus, Cleo and Eva Lou Buse; and four brothers, Cecil, Truman, Clifford, and Charles Buse.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Hussey, Jerry Duffie, Jerry Smith, Lee Buse, Danny Dunaway, and John Robins.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
