Gloria Krumcke Tupelo- Gloria Juanita Wood Krumcke, 88, passed away August 15, 2014, at Traceway's Gregory House in Tupelo. She was born in Panama City, FL on December 26, 1925, to Luther Clayton and Lillian Bailey Wood. She grew up in Birmingham, AL and Oxford, MS. Gloria married the love of her life, James Franklin Krumcke, on May 15, 1945, in Oxford, MS. She was a member of Bissell Baptist Church in Tupelo, MS. Gloria was a gentle, sweet spirit who loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, with all of her heart. She was a wonderful and devoted mother, who cared for her special needs daughter, Jeanie, for many years. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors with Rev. Roger Smith officiating. Graveside services will follow at Oxford Memorial Cemetery. Survivors include one daughter, Terri Taylor (Charlie) of Mooreville; one son, Bruce Krumcke (Kelli) of Tupelo; grandchildren, Chris McNeece (Sarah) of Seattle, WA, Carrie Riley (Scott) of Tupelo, Abby Williams of Tupelo, Clay and Bryce Krumcke both of Tupelo; great-grandchildren, Drew, Colby and Caden Riley all of Tupelo, Elijah, Will, Wyatt and Kate McNeece all of Seattle, WA, Maddie and Owen Williams both of Tupelo; one sister, Virginia Ragland of Gulfport, MS; one sister-in-law, Lenora Wood of Oxford, MS and many neices and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Franklin Krumcke; one daughter, Gloria Jean "Jeanie" Krumcke; two brothers, Buddy Wood and Gene Wood and two sisters, Margaret Greene and Estelle Sapp. Grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be 5 to 8 p.m., Monday, August 18, 2014, and 12 to 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 19, 2014, at the W. E. Pegues, Tupelo.
