Tupelo - Gladys Justice, 93, died Thursday, June 4, 2009, at Cedars Heathcare Center after an extended illness. A Lee County native, she was born July 3, 1915 to R. N. and Winnie Dell Whitlock. She enjoyed the time she had at Cedars and appreciated the loving care she received. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Dwain Ard and Rev. Tony Piraino officiating. Burial will be in Priceville Cemetery.
Survivors include her step-sister, Faye Cantrell of Tupelo; one brother, Colonel Thomas W. Whitlock, USAF (RET) of Fort Walton, Beach, Fla.; her good friend and pastor, Rev. Dwain Ard.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Harry Whitlock; and her husband, Charles Justice.
Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. until service time Friday.
