TUPELO - Tupelo - Gina Ann Vail Goff, 56, died Saturday, January 26, 2019 at North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born November 19, 1962 in Tucker, Georgia to Henry and Maurine Watson Vail but called Tupelo home. Most of life, she worked as a CNA at several nursing homes, but she had also worked at North Mississippi Child Care Center when her children were younger and owned Beehive Daycare many years ago. Gina loved her grandchildren and three dachshund dogs. She enjoyed playing the piano and taking care of people and was known for her big heart and always putting others before herself. She was a member of Monument Drive Baptist Church.
Survivors include four children, Drew Goff (Chelsea) of Nettleton, Emily Griggs (Joshua) of Tupelo, Tiffany Kitchens (Dustin) of Saltillo and Will Goddard (Sara) of Pontotoc; seven grandchildren, Tucker Goff, Paisley Goff, Bella Griggs, Abigail Kitchens, Cason Kitchens, Kyler Goddard and Haisley Goddard; two brothers, Jimmy Vail of Dallas, Texas and Don Vail (Kathy) of Hattiesburg; father of her children, Phillip Goff of Tupelo; and her special friend and partner for the last 15 years, Paul Goddard.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Maurine Vail; and two brothers, Mike Vail and Eddie Vail.
A memorial gathering will be held from 5 until 8 p.m. Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Cedar Grove United Pentecostal Church.
