GEORGE RUSSEL JAMES, JR. Maben- George Russel James, Jr., 59, died Friday, March 6, 2015, at North Mississippi Medical Center, Hospice Unit. He was born in Washington County on December 5, 1955, to George Russel and Martha Jean Hill James. He was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at Concord Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Griffin officiating. Graveside services will follow in Concord Baptist Church Cemetery. W.E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include two daughters, Tansy Eggers (Cody) of Sioux City, Iowa and Chantel Chism (Jeffery) of Maben; two sons, Curtis James (Jessica) of Spanaway, Washington and George "Rusty" James, III (Allison) of Ackerman; two brothers, Norman James of Maben and Al James (Rachel) of Ackerman; two sisters Nancy Bright of French Camp and Janet Power of Holly Springs; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Ruby Jean Bowie; niece Martha Bowie; and his grandmother, Nanny. Pallbearers will be Michael James, Zach James, Jeffery Chism, Cody Eggers, Thomas Steadman, and Jimmy Steadman. Honorary Pallbearers will be Matt Bowie and Lee Steadman. Visitation will be 12 pm until service time Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at the church.
