Gearldean Glass

GEARLDEAN GLASS Tupelo - Gearldean Lucille Sanderson Glass, 86, found her heavenly wings on Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at her home. She was born in Popular Bluff, Missouri on July 16, 1929, to Garland Perry and Mamie Marie Gillihan Sanderson. Gearldean was a laborer, homemaker and cared for disabled individuals. She loved reading, going to yard sales, watching game shows, and Trauma Life in the ER. She also loved to collect pretty things. Gearldean was Baptist by faith.  Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, April 1, 2016, in The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Bro. Les Perry and Rev. Chris McCord officiating. A graveside service will follow in Longview Cemetery. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include eight children, Brenda Tutor (Herbert) of Randolph, Norma Cook (Wayne) of Tupelo, Glenda Raines (Alan) of Randolph, Kathy White (Doyle) of Belden, Wayne Glass of Tupelo, Sharon "Rosie" Bannister of Pontotoc, Phyllis McKoin (Jack) of Tupelo, Denise DeVaughn (Rickey) of Tupelo; twenty grandchildren; two adopted grandchildren, Tracy Burney (John) of Pontotoc and Danny Glass of Tupelo; forty-one great-grandchildren; and thirty-one great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Edward "Bill" Glass; two daughters, Patricia "Trish" Diane Glass and Francis Elizabeth Glass; two sons, Cleveland Perry "Buck" Glass and William Edward Glass; three sisters; five brothers. Pallbearers will be Justin Bannister, Jason Bannister, Jack White, Daniel White, Greg Woods, Brent Raines, Brad Raines, Mateo Galvan , Ralph White, Jason Watson and Perry Anderson. Visitation will be 4 p.m. until 7 p.m Thursday, March 31, 2016 at W.
