GARY JOURDAN Saltillo - Gary Jourdan, 32, died Tuesday, September 18, 2012, at The North Mississippi Medical Center after a short illness. A Saltillo native, he was born May 1, 1980, to Jerry and Fannie Mae McClain Jourdan. He was employed as a foreman by Quail Hills Construction Company and also worked for Danny Tutor Landscaping Company. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing, especially when he could take his daughters with him. He also loved to tinker with electronics & outdoor equipment. Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 21, 2012, at The Saltillo Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Rev. Johnny Cook officiating. Burial will be in Euclatubba Cemetery. Survivors include two daughters, Skylar McKenzie Jourdan and Lakyn Grace Jourdan both of Saltillo; his mother, Fannie Mae Jourdan of Saltillo; two sisters, Melissa Owen (Mark) and Penny Jourdan both of Saltillo; one brother, Wendell Jourdan of Saltillo; his girlfriend and the mother of his daughters, Stephanie Tutor of Saltillo. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Jourdan and one infant son, Gabe Jourdan. Pallbearers will be Brett Hawkes, Gary Barnett, Clinton Cameron, Mike Cameron, Jammie Butler, Joe McCoy.
