Gale Presnell

Gale Presnell, 59, went to be with her Lord and Savior June 9, 2018 at North Mississippi Medical Center. A life-long resident of Lee County, she was born February 25, 1959 to Kenneth and Mary Alice Chism Lyles. Gale attended the First Church of Christ in Tupelo. Gale was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother that really enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Gale is survived by her loving husband of 13 years, Dennis M. Presnell of the Auburn Community; sisters, Brenda Sheffield (Gerald) and Amanda Dickerson; special aunts and uncles, Pat and Wayne Washington, Peggy Chism, Betty Stevens and John Lyles and family; loving children, Malena Johnson of Booneville, Misty Kennedy (Ricky) of Lee County, Kenneth Johnson (Landrea) of Lee County, Dennis M. Presnell Jr. (Amanda) of Ferrum, Virginia, David Johnson of the Auburn Community and Shelby Huggins (Scotty) of Rienzi; 22 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded by her parents Kenneth and Alice Lyles, and her grandparents Bonnie and Zelma Lyles and Roxie Chism, and her uncle J.D. Lyles.

A celebration of life will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 16, 2018 at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Minister Chad Ramsey officiating.
