FRANKIE J. CASTLE Nettleton - Frankie Castle, 75, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2015, at North Mississippi Medical Center, Hospice Unit after a brief illness. She was born in Nettleton on May 7, 1940, to Oscar and Fronie Oliver. Frankie retired from the North Mississippi Medical Center, Women's Hospital after 25 years. She worked in the nursery there and loved taking care of the babies. She was a Baptist by faith. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, November 14, 2015, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Allen Gullick officiating. A graveside service will follow at Gray's Cemetery in Nettleton. Survivors include her children, Frank Wayne Utz of Batesville and Judy Bell (Larry) of Ramer, Tennessee; grandchildren, Jessica McCarley, William McCarley, David Utz, April Esparza and Daniel Strickland; two great-grandchildren; sister, Lydia Jane Moore of Peppertown. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James Elliot "Jim" Castle. Pallbearers will be Billy Shelton, George Oliver, Nick Kent, Larry Rowell, John Presley and Johnny Mack Park. Honorary pallbearers will be Leroy Miller and Rodney Bishop. Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. Thursday, November 12, 2015 and 4 - 8 p.m. Friday, November 13, 2015 at W. E. Pegues, Tupelo.
