Frank Crawford

FRANK W. CRAWFORD   Tupelo - Frank Wesley Crawford, 71, passed away Friday, March 11, 2016, at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital. He was born March 21, 1944, to Frank B. and Naomi Sullivan Crawford. Frank went to Delta State University where he graduated with his Bachelor of Science degree and met his wife, Mary. He also attended the University of Mississippi and received a Master's degree. Frank taught chemistry at Tupelo High School for 38 years. When Frank wasn't teaching his students he enjoyed remodeling, designing and building homes with his wife. He was also handy with computers and after his retirement from teaching high school students, went to teach computer technology at North Mississippi Medical Center. Frank loved his grandnieces and nephews and spent a great deal of his time with them. He attended Furrs Baptist Church.   Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, March 14, 2016, at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Rev. Brad Hill and Rev. Hall Horace officiating. Burial will be in Chesterville Cemetery.   Survivors include his wife, Mary O. Crawford; daughter, Denise C. McMillen (John); sisters, Joyce Simpson, Charlie Mae Hall (Horace); brother, Les Perry (Faye); nieces, Shay Allen (Doug), Lindsey Broadway (John), Dee Dee Carden (Barry), Cindy Bohon and Kim Perry Poland (Brannon); nephew, David Simpson; grandnieces and nephews, Josh, Andy and Lydia Allen and Jackson and Hunter Broadway and many beloved cousins.   He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank B. and Naomi Crawford, grandparents, John L. and Jennie B. Sullivan, aunt, Elizabeth Nash and uncles, John and James Sullivan.   Pallbearers will be Phil Sullivan, Kelly Sullivan, Doug Allen, Andy Allen, John Broadway, Barry Carden, Dakota Sundstrom and James Sundstrom.   Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Sunday, March 13, 2016, at W.
