FRANCES GARDNER SEGARS

Saltillo - Frances Gardner Segars, 72, died Friday, March 17, 2006, at her residence. She was born September 2, 1933 to the late Mitchell and Ethel Gardner of Lee County. She was She was employed at Saltillo Medical Clinc for 28 years. She enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Covenant Life Presbyterian Church.

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, March 19, 2006 at The Saltillo Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Rev. Fred Showers officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, D.M. "Buddy" Segars of Saltillo; two sons, David Segars and wife, Julia, Mike Segars and wife, Leasha, one daughter, Suzette Potts and husband, Roger Dale, all of Saltillo; 11 grandchildren, Sarah Crouch and husband, Michael, of Saltillo, Shea Harmon and husband Kelly, of Tupelo, Suzanne Bingham and husband, Ben, of Nettleton, Adam Potts and wife, Kayla, of Sturgis, Katie Knight and husband, Sam, of Jackson, TN, Lindsay Segars, Emily Potts, Dianna Segars, John Michael Segars, Leah Beth Potts and Christopher Potts, all of Saltillo; six great-grandchildren, Sarah Catherine, Emma Elizabeth, and Anna Caroline Crouch, Max Gardner and Hannah Meredith Harmon, and James Reed Bingham.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Mary Johnson.

Pallbearers will be Her grandsons, Adam Potts, John Michael Segars, Christopher Potts, Michael Crouch, Kelly Harmon, Ben Bingham, and Sam Knight.

Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Covenant Life Pesbyerian Church Building Fund at PO Box 997, Saltillo, MS 38866.
