Evie Taylor
SALTILLO - Evie Frances Taylor, 85, died Monday, May 22, 2006, at the Graceland Care Center in New Albany after a long illness. She was a native of Lee County and a longtime resident of Saltillo. She was a homemaker and a member of Mayfield Church of Christ. She enjoyed working in her flowers and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Saltillo Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Bro. Earl Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in Mayfield Cemetery.
Survivors include three daughters, Dorothy Sue Warren and husband, James, of Baldwyn, Frances Ethridge and husband, Vernon, of Saltillo, and Rhonda Kay Wooldridge and husband, Andy, of Guntown; one son, David Taylor and wife, Leisa, of Saltillo; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Franklin Dunaway; her mother, Mary Elizabeth Smith Dunaway; her husband, Nathan Taylor; three brothers, Luke, Ben and Hollis Dunaway; and two sisters, Mandy Dunaway and Mary Taylor.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Dunaway, Donnie Dunaway, Rocky Dunaway, Franklin Dunaway and Jacob Dunaway.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the Saltillo Chapel.
