Saltillo—Eva May Spearman Webb passed away Saturday, June 17, 2023 at her daughter’s home. She was 87. Born June 5, 1936 in Saltillo, she was the daughter of Ernest Lee and Velma Lee Parker Spearman. Eva worked as a sales clerk in a shoe store for many years. She was the widow of Lawrence Webb and they enjoyed a long happy marriage before his passing. Eva was a Baptist by faith and loved taking care of her family and her pets.
Eva leaves behind her daughter, Kim Sandlin of Saltillo; her grandchildren, Noel Washington and husband, Jerry of Ecru and Robby Sandlin of Saltillo; great-grandchildren, Olivia and Reese Kizer and Mary Carrson Sandlin; sister, Nell Spearman; brother, Garvin Spearman and wife, Linda; and step-children, Pat Thomas and husband, Jim, Raymond Webb, and Jimmy Webb.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; a son-in-law, Bobby Sandlin; and a sister, Oma Lee Murphy.
Visitation will be 5 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at Pegues, Saltillo.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at the Saltillo Chapel with Bro. Jim Thomas and Bro. Jimmy Webb officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Robby Sandlin, Earl Price, Jerry Washington, Raymond Webb, Terry Dykes, and Ray Oliver.
