EULA HARRIS SULLIVAN
Mooreville - EULA AUSTINE HARRIS SULLIVAN, 75, died Wednesday, March 28, 2007, at her residence after an extended illness. A native of Pettigrew, Ark., she was born August 23, 1931 to the late Thomas Jefferson and Desta Mae Eldridge Harris. She was retired from Reed Manufacturing where she worked as a computer operator in the pattern marking department after 37 years of service. She had lived in Mooreville for 57 years. She was the widow of Richard H. Sullivan who preceded her in death December 30, 1987. She was an active member of Andrews Chapel Methodist Church and very involved in the community, giving generously of her time and energy. She was recognized as a talented seamstress, cook, and giving neighbor.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Andrews Chapel Methodist Church with Rev. Sammy Washburn officiating. Burial will be in Andrews Chapel Cemetery. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include two daughters, Rhonda Hallmark of Mooreville and Mildred (Mid) Anne Brock and husband, Clifford, of Barstow, Calif.; three sisters, Alma Hodge of Dallas, Tex., Nina Luce of Derby, Ka., and Sue Ball and husband, Darrell, of Springdale, Ark.; six brothers, Joe G. Harris and wife,Ruby of Stilwell, Okla., Howard Harris and wife, Carolyn, of Hurst, Tex., Ray Harris of Bartlesville, Okla., Doyle Harris and wife, Julie, of Corpus Christi, Tex., and Richard Harris and wife, Rebecca of Ft. Gibson, Okla.; a granddaughter, Desta Hallmark; and a grandson, Richard Hallmark, both of Mooreville ,her sisters-in-law, Josie Harris of Stilwell, Okla, Helen Thomas of Mooreville, and Hilda Sullivan of Evergreen; two special life-long friends, Jimmy and Kathleen Hussey of Mooreville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; her step-mother, Vervia Dennis Harris; a daughter, Regina Marie Sullivan; and two brothers, Lewis Harris and David Harris.
Pallbearers will be members of the Andrews chapel Men's Club.
Honorary Pallbearers wil be the women of the United Methodist Women's Guild..
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
