EULA MAE EDWARDS
NettletonEula Mae Edwards, 76, died Monday, March 6, 2006 at her residence after a short illness. A native of Shannon, she was born June 25, 1929, to the late Tran and Ada Burleson Sheffield. She was a retired nurse and a member of the Liberty Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, quilting and selling Mary Kay cosmetics and also loved spending time with her family.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Jefferson Street Chapel of W.E. Pegues Funeral Directors with the Dr. Keith Dowden officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Charles Edwards, Sr. of Nettleton; two daughters, Patsy Ann Rider of Nettleton, and Peggy Jo Zahrowski of Wyoming; one son, Charles Edwards, Jr. and wife, Pattie, of Asheboro, NC; one sister, Willow Jean Markham of Nettleton and one brother T.C. Sheffield of Nettleton; seven grandchildren, Todd Weeks, Paula Inmon both of Nettleton, Pam Osburn of North Carolina, Barry Campbell of Wyoming, Patrice Sansing of Shannon, Charles "Bo Edwards, III of Cleveland, and Monica Martinez of Wyoming; 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-granchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, one sister, and a grandson, Brian Campbell.
Pallbearers will be the grandsons and great-grandsons.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from noon until service time on Friday at the funeral home.
