Etoil Walls

January 28, 1916 — May 31, 2008

Tupelo - Etoil Walls, 92, died Saturday, May 31, 2008, at The Sanctuary Hospice House after an extended illness. A Union County native, she was born January 28, 1916 to the late Luther Alexander and Myrtle Ledbetter Gray. She was a member of Parkway Baptist Church, where she was the oldest member.

Services will be 3:00 p.m. Monday, June 2, 2008 at The Jefferson Street Chapel of W. E. Pegues with Dr. Paul Brashier and Rev.Roger Smith officiating. Burial will be in Lee Memorial Park.

Survivors include two sons, Roger Wayne Walls (Mamie) of Vardaman and Kenneth Walls (JoAnne) of Tupelo; one sister Myrtis Dunnam of New Albany; four grandchildren Stacy Ann Walls of Charleston, W. Virginia, Karen Dempsey of Tupelo, Kimberly Walls of Tupelo and Van Walls (Lori) of New Albany; six great grandchildren Michael Dudding (Allison) of Horn Lake, Brad Walls (Priscilla) of Olive Branch, Jamie Benefield of New Albany, Charles, Annia and Elliot Walls of New Albany; a special sister-in-law, Juanita Nita Hamric.

She was preceded in death by parents, her husband of 41 years, Glen Walls, and one sister Lillian Andrews.

Pallbearers will be Dean Hamric, John Andrews, Gary Andrews, Ronnie Andrews,
Judd Andrews, Allen Dunnam. Honorary Pallbearer: Leigh Hamric.

Visitation will be 1:00 - 3:00 p.m., Monday, June 2, 2008 at the funeral home.
