EZELLE WITT
Tupelo - EZELLE WITT, 90, died Tuesday, July 17, 2007, at Cedars Health Center after an extended illness. A native of Sulpher Springs, Tex., she was born December 15, 1916 to the late Milburn and Kate Waggoner Hurley. A longtime Tupelo resident, she worked many years in food service, serving as the manager of the school cafeteria at Church Street School, the food services director at First United Methodist Church and lastly, as dietician for Traceway Retirement Community. Her husband of 68 years, Stroud Witt, preceded her in death, February 25, 2006. She was a longtime member of Tupelo Freewill Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Tupelo Memorial Park with Rev. Terry Pierce officiating. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include three daughters, Jane Ledford and husband, Clarence, of Parsons, Tenn., Sandra Witt of Mantachie, and Ann Giompoletti and husband, Robert, of Madison; four grandchildren, Terri Baudo of Lexington, S.C., Julie Weaver of Saltillo, Grant McCaleb of Birmingham, Ala., and Bryce Giompoletti of MAdison; nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
She was the last of eight children.
Pallbearers will be Robert Giompoletti, Bryce Giompoletti, Grant McCaleb, Tim Weaver, Steve Baudo, and Alex Baudo
