Las Vegas - Emealine Alice Witt, 82, went home to be with Jesus Saturday, December 13, 2008, at Harmon Medical & Rehabilitation Hospital after an extended illness. Born February 27, 1926 to Thomas and Glo Pickle Francis in Tupelo, Miss., she lived in Las Vegas, Nevada from 1959 to 2008.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Priceville Cemetery. W. E. Pegues Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her son, Robert (Bobby) L. Witt of Las Vegas, Nev.; her sisters, Gradys Priest, Marlene Lewchuk; her brother, Rex Francis; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Lewis John Witt; a son, Rickey John Witt; and her grandson, Ryan John Witt.
