Elizabeth "Libby" Tutor

Guntown – Elizabeth Ann Tutor, 75, died Thursday, January 17, 2019 at the Hospice Unit of North Mississippi Medical Center after an extended illness. On January 13, 1944, she was born to Virgil Azberry Lott and Velma Rush Lot. She graduated from Saltillo High School. Elizabeth was a seamstress in the manufacturing industry for most of her working life. She worked for Futorian in New Albany and Action Lane in Pontotoc. Elizabeth enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers.  She also enjoyed crocheting.  She was a member of Victory Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughters, Deloris Stewart and her husband, David of Thaxton and Sharon Conklin of Charlotte, North Carolina; two sons, Jerry Tutor and his wife, Linda Sue of New Albany and Greg Tutor and his wife, Polly of Fulton; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; sister, Linda McCoy of Guntown; numerous cousins; and two aunts.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Velma Lott.

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, January 20, 2019 at the Saltillo Chapel of W.E. Pegues with Rev. Allen Gullick officiating and Rev. Bobby Robbins providing the euology. Burial will follow in Campbelltown Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, January 19, 2019 at W.E. Pegues, Saltillo.

Pallbearers will be Duston Tutor, Kyle Tutor, Bruce Tutor, Larry McCoy, Jeff McCoy and Charles Stewart.

Services will be live streamed and recorded for those who may not be able to attend at www.peguesfuneralhome.com .
